FAQS
To ensure optimal performance, we recommend running the cleaning program daily. It is also recommended that the water in the reservoir be changed every 24 hours to help reduce water hardness and minimize noise. Regular cleaning prevents scale buildup, which can block the pump and cause the machine to malfunction.
For daily cleaning, run the cleaning mode once a day.
We recommend doing a deep clean once a month. Mix a nickel-safe ice machine cleaner with water and add it to the machine before running the cleaning mode. Once the cleaning cycle is complete, drain the water and rinse the machine by running the cleaning mode twice with pure water.
To maintain optimal performance and water quality, it's advisable to drain the reservoir at least once a day. This routine maintenance helps minimize water hardness, eliminate impurities, and prevent scale buildup within the reservoir.
Yes, it's recommended that both the main reservoir and the secondary water reservoir be filled to the maximum water level line. The ice machine uses water from the secondary reservoir for ice production, so filling ensures smooth operation and a steady supply of ice.
The ice maker doesn't have an insulation function, so the ambient temperature will cause the ice to slowly melt. If not using the ice for a long time, store it in the refrigerator.
Ice cubes themselves are tasteless. The first batch may have a strange taste and should be discarded. If the ice consistently smells plastic, run several cleaning cycles with the Ice Maker Cleaning Agent to remove the odor. Finally, use drinking water to make ice.
It may be that the tube inside the machine came loose during transport. You can remove the back cover and reconnect the tube yourself. If you are unsure how to do this, please contact our team. We will refer you to a professional video to help you solve the problem.
Our ice maker is equipped with a sensor that automatically stops ice production when the ice bin is full.
Ice-making is slow at first use. Let it sit for 24 hours, then make ice several times at normal speed. Operate the ice maker in an environment below 90°F and use room temperature water for making ice.
Yes, the ice maker has internal water circulation. When ice melts, the water flows back into the reservoir to make new ice.
If the ambient temperature and the refrigeration pipe are in good working order, it is likely that the refrigerant within the machine has experienced a leak. Please provide us with a video or photo of the issue to assist you further. The Euhomy Team will be happy to offer guidance and support.
Try resetting the machine: Unplug it for 2 hours, then plug it back in. Contact the Euhomy Team, if these steps don't resolve the issue.
