Do I need to install a water filter?
It is not strictly mandatory, but it is recommended that you make a decision based on your local water quality. If the local water is hard or contains a high level of impurities, installing a water filter will help prevent sediment and impurities from entering the machine, thereby also helping to improve the quality of the ice produced.
What type of water is recommended? Can I add milk, juice, or other beverages to the water tank?
We recommend using clean drinking water. For optimal ice quality, you may also use purified or distilled water. If your local water quality is poor, we suggest using the device in conjunction with a water filtration system. Please refrain from adding any beverages other than plain water. Liquids such as milk or fruit juice can easily clog the water pump and shorten the machine's service life; furthermore, their ingredients may accumulate, form scale deposits, or even compromise the internal water circulation system.
Can heat-generating devices, such as ovens or microwave ovens, be placed near the machine?
It is not recommended to place heat-generating devices—such as ovens or microwave ovens—in the vicinity of the machine. Such heat sources interfere with the intake of cool air through the machine's air vents, thereby compromising the system's heat exchange efficiency.
Excessively high ambient temperatures or high humidity levels may negatively impact ice-making performance and also cause the ice cubes to melt more rapidly.
What should be noted regarding drainage during the initial installation?
This unit utilizes gravity drainage; a drain hose is located on the back of the machine—simply detach the hose to drain water into a sink.
Can this machine produce clearer ice? Why do the ice cubes sometimes appear white or cloudy, lacking transparency?
The clarity of the ice is influenced by water quality. Using clean drinking water, purified water, or distilled water—and installing a filtration system if necessary—will generally help improve the appearance of the ice cubes. White or cloudy ice is typically linked to a high concentration of impurities in the water. We recommend using drinking water, purified water, or distilled water; if the local water supply is consistently of poor quality, you may wish to consider installing a water filter.
Why are the ice cubes melting so quickly?
This machine features a cold-retention function that allows you to manually activate "Hold" mode, ensuring the machine only initiates the ice-release cycle when ice is actually needed. If this cold-retention function is not enabled—particularly in high-temperature environments, such as during the summer—the ice cubes will melt at a much faster rate. Recommendations:
- Keep the lid closed as much as possible to minimize the loss of cold air.
- Avoid placing the machine in high-temperature environments.
- If you need to store the ice for an extended period, please transfer it to a freezer compartment promptly.
Can the machine be left running continuously?
Generally, it is recommended to turn the machine on and off as needed, switching it off when not in use. This facilitates easier daily management and helps reduce unnecessary operational strain.

How should the machine be cleaned on a daily basis?
Daily Cleaning Recommendations: When the machine is not in use, fill it with clean water and activate the self-cleaning mode. Once the cleaning cycle is complete, wipe the interior of the machine dry or allow it to air-dry thoroughly. If necessary, the cleaning process may be repeated.
If significant limescale buildup is visible on the evaporator, we recommend performing a deep clean using a specialized cleaning agent suitable for nickel surfaces. After cleaning, thoroughly drain the machine and wipe its interior dry.
Why is the machine leaking?
